MIXED SIGNAL APPLICATIONS ENGINEER

In your role as Mixed Signal Applications
Engineer, your immediate responsibilities will include customer
applications support and applications circuit development to
support the sales of the company's integrated circuits. You will

will design, build and test custom demonstration circuits to

POWER IC TEST ENGINEER

The ESD Specialist is responsible for insuring
that products meet or exceed industry standard and application-specific
ESD requirements. In this role, he works closely with Design,
CAD, Process Integration, Quality, and Reliability engineering
teams to understand, improve, verify, standardize, and document
ESD protection for high-performance analog integrated circuits.
The primary objective is to improve the quality of design. This
is accomplished by improving the predictability and performance
of products to ESD testing. Results include reduced development
cycle-time and cost by minimizing mask re-spins, improved product
quality as evidenced by higher levels of ESD protection, and
differentiated performance as recognized by the companies customers.
Specific responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and characterize
robust ESD structures.
Maintain the ESD Handbook, cell libraries, and establish and
maintain ESD design rules for bipolar, CMOS, BiCMOS, and RF process
technologies.
Attend all Product and Layout reviews to verify compliance with
ESD best-practices and rules. Attend Data reviews to verify testing
results.
Conduct ESD Design-of-Experiments for new processes (or extensions)
and/or new product applications.
Analyze and make recommendations to improve performance of existing
products.
Successful candidates are attentive to detail, good communicators
willing and able to drive adoption of standardized practices,
well-organized and have:
Knowledge of industry-standard component-level
(HBM, CDM, MM) and system-level (IEC) ESD test methodologies.
Experience with Cadence EDA tools.
A strong background in device design, analog/power circuit design,
and familiarity with bipolar, BiCMOS and CMOS process flows.
10+ years experience with ESD and device design.

In this position you will perform
qualification and reliability monitoring of IC products, packages,
and processes with focus on suitability to end applications and
conformance to industry standards. Perform device level failure
analysis for an in-depth understanding of IC device failures.
Analyze reliability data in support of engineering development
projects involving IC products, processes and packages. Perform
reliability evaluation by analyzing ATE test data, collecting
data bench test data, and performing device failure analysis.
Assist in the selection and setup of new reliability test hardware
and equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
BSEE preferred. B.S. degree in a technical discipline (physics,
chemistry, chemical engineering, material engineering, etc.)
will be given consideration. A minimum of three years of directly
related experience is required.
Candidate should have hands-on experience in the following areas.
Evaluation and design of reliability test hardware, reliability
testing, statistical analysis and modeling of reliability data,
ATE test data interpretation, device level electrical characterization,
and IC failure analysis. Only candidates with prior working experience
